iPod Essentials #48: "It's My Life"--Talk Talk
This is one of my favorite songs of the 80's. It's got a great synthsized beat and a terrific video to boot. It indicates that we all are masters of our lives, whether we're discussing love or career. "It's my life. Don't you forget."
Hey Lori! Remember me? I used to live in TO a few years ago. Then we moved to Boston and now we've been living in Switzerland for a year now. Just looked you up today and thought I'd get in touch.
Good heavens! How on earth have you been? I'm used to people not responding to THE FREQUENT HOWLER. It doesn't help that I tend to blog infrequently.
Switzerland--wow! Still writing? I'm trying to get my new mystery series off the ground and into the arms of an agent. I should be ready to go around May or June of next year. Very hard to write when you're teaching. (I went back to school so I could teach ESL along with college English.)
I no longer belong to the VCWC. A lot of people don't. I need to network and the two mystery orgs I belong to allow me to do that.
